Everyone always talks about how good our 2021 defense was (and rightfully so) but looking back it is clear that our offense that year was very good in it's own right and has produced a lot of pros. Just looking at the guys who truly played that year:
QB: Stet (4th round)
RB: Zamir (4th round), Cook (2nd), McIntosh (7th), Milton (Priority UDFA; Signed with Eagles)
WR: Pickens (2nd round), Ladd (2nd), AD (2nd), Burton (3rd), Kearis (UDFA but currently with the Titans), MRJ (Priority UDFA; Signed with Washington)
TE: Brock (1st round), Darnell (3rd), Fitzpatrick (6th)
OL: Brod Jones (1st round), Salyer (6th), McClendon (5th), SVP (5th), Shaffer (6th), Mims (1st)
That is a total of 17 guys in our two deep that year who have already been drafted plus 3 UDFA who are on NFL rosters currently.
Unfortunately the loss to Bama in that year's SECCG prevents that team from being mentioned as one of the all-time greats but I think it deserves to be when looking back at it. Just a crazy amount of talent on both sides of the ball. What a special group!
