Thats ok, but you can't sacrifice so much offense to play defense.

For example, 15 of the first 18 points Auburn scored in the 2nd half were well defended. Some shots were a great effort by the shooter against good D, or were very long range over our defense that was in proper position.

Last night, Arky hit some amazing shots from long range and at the last second, while we played good defense.

The point is, to be a winner, you have to outscore the opponent.

Auburn's hot streak didn't beat us. It was our inability to respond. Even 35-40% shooting the first 10 minutes of the second half would have kept us in the game.

Defense will win games, but not all games. You have to be able to score yourself to win. Fox doesn't seem to understand this concept.

(By the way, Crump's defense would have been just as effective against Auburn's Brown and Arky's McCoy when they got hot, as what Turtle or Parker played.)
