Our OL averages just 292lb, and it's the best I've seen at UGA..

They work together wonderfully.
The scheme has clearly changed from trying to maul the defense to a coordinated trap/seal scheme that relies on skill, athleticism and brains as much as brute force, it's working.
As much as I loved Big Ben I got really frustrated seeing him take down defenders and wrestle with them in the middle of the line. Human bodies take up a lot of line space when they lie prone. Far too often backs were having to literally stop because they were blocked by their own players. The lanes being opened now are HUGE, maybe not Donald Trump ego ''HUGE'', but our backs don't often run into piles of bodies at the line anymore.

You know, a wise coach once said the trick to picking your blockers and ball handlers was to let them loose in the woods and see which ones ran into the trees and which ones ran around them..

Makes sense. It's a whole lot easier to run around rooted trees than down ones though.

You do realize we haven't played a team that is worth a shat yet. SC is awful. We have no clue how good our offensive line or anything else is yet.

Richt has a terrible record against end of the season ranked teams.

OL was better last year.

Think this OL can be better eventually but not yet

Well, it's mostly the same line and they play the same style, so I was pretty much counting last season. I do believe they're as good this year though, other than a few more mistakes at center maybe. The lanes those guys open up are top notch. I can see the blocking design better these past couple of seasons than at any other time. The line from 2007/2010 likely had more talent, but scheme and execution wise, this bunch is better.

Looks like the O line thing is indeed more about teamwork and continuity rather than stars behind a kid's name. In this offense the o-line and the QB cannot be dumb arses for sure.
