I just finished watching about 5 of their games (highlights) and their LBs are super slow to react to pass coverage, specifically with the RBs. I think this is why their pass defense is ranked so poor nationally. Beck is very comfortable with check down reads and this Tenn front 7 is going to give him those all day long. Bell will feast on their LBs, he may have a career day just catching passes in the flats.
Also, in every game I saw the Tenn defense really struggles covering QBs who leave the pocket. When they do spy the LB is slow to react and the QBs won those one on ones more than 50% of the time. Beck isn't as fast as cook or milton but he is efficient when he runs. I see beck having a day with this as well.
Just these two aspects of our game will add enough stress to their coverage that deep pass plays will be there for the taking with McConkey, Bowers, Thomas, Rosemy-Jacksaint and Lovet.
On the Tenn O side, Bama, Missouri and Fla all stopped their run game, mostly by leaving WRs in single man coverage and keeping a heavy box.
If I can see this by watching highlight film on YT I know our staff sees this. We're going to eat very well in Knoxville this Saturday.
