Pac-12 presidents and chancellors' unanimous decision last month to postpone all conference sports competition until at least Jan. 1 came after they saw a presentation that included erroneous statistics that overstated the prevalence of COVID-19 in several of the conference’s communities during the first week of August.

The most glaring incorrect metric listed the seven-day average positivity rate for tests in Los Angeles County as 19% — more than three times the 5.49% average listed by the L.A. County Department of Public Health.

Anyone who needs to see a pie chart or bar graph or mathematical formula while ignoring the facts they can see every single day; i.e people not dropping dead, people not laid up sick en masse, people not afraid to go in public, deserve to be the victim of bad decisions.

BINGO!!!

Newsom just lifted the restrictions that would have prevented the Cal schools from playing. With the conference's lackadaisical approach, I wouldn't expect them to play a game until the end of October.

The Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee misled their own conference. Like when Fauci deceived the president into shutting down the economy by exaggerating the threat. The ends always justify the means. These people are incapable of honesty.
