I don't care how tough our conference or strength of schedule is. I know Vanderbilt is very good at baseball, but for us to be simply noncompetitive with them is unacceptable. I heard Scott Striklin on 960 the ref the last few weeks doing his regular interview going on about how we may make the tournament with our tough strength of schedule if we are just above .500. It just felt like a lot of excuse making to me. We don't look like a good team, and we are simply non competitive against top program far more often than not. I'm not too inspired by what he's doing. I think we need a change with our baseball program. Sure the SEC is very tough in baseball with a lot of very good program all around us. But if those other programs are able to do it around here, what's our excuse?
