Have people lost their minds? I’ve seen fans on Twitter saying “maybe they’ll make an example out of Kirby”.
Like are people actually that stupid? Jere isn’t going to shoot his own foot off.
Kirby is there to coach football and win football games. If raising up a bunch of stately saints was the objective the CMR would still be our coach. College football is basically semi-pro now, the NFL
The arrests need to stop, but at the end of the day these players are adults and responsible for their own actions. Their parents had 18 years to raise them to be responsible adults, can’t expect Kirby to do that in 1 or 2 after they turn 18. Fine the hell out of them just like the NFL would and make strong stipulations in their NIL contracts. If they don’t like it they can hit the portal and go play for a program that isn’t a proven NFL factory. It’s that simple.
