I honestly think there is some truth to the statement, "liberalism is a disease".

We've all seen the looney, irrational stuff on TV, from the left. But some of the things, people have told me, personally, in recent days, are unbelievable.

I KNOW liberals who won't let their kids see their conservative grandparents. They are afraid they will expose the kids to their political views.....THEIR GRANDCHILDREN. They honestly believe the grandparents would plot and scheme, to influence their grandkids with their views. If they do allow a visit, the grandparents have to promise not to discuss their political views with the kids. That's sick imo.

I know liberals who invent arguments, with family members, during casual conversation. "Boy it's warm today" is met with a personal attack, for supporting those who created global warming.

I know liberals who freak out, when they are exposed to differing opinions. It throws them into a meltdown, to even HEAR something that challenges their beliefs.

I know liberals who think anyone who does not agree with them is the enemy. Doesn't matter who they are, or the nature of the relationship. If they find out you have conservative opinions, you are the enemy and will be immediately canceled. Contact severed. Blocked on social media, etc.

I want to piggy back off your excellent points and add a few things.

First, there are no true right wingers left in America we are all liberals to an extent. So I wouldn’t say it’s a “liberal” issue but what happens when America turns away from Christ and people adopt the religion of progressivism (whatever you want to call it).

Second, while I truly despise the progressives, woke, etc. it’s not all their fault. The amount of left wing propaganda we are all subjected to is staggering. It begins for children now as soon they turn on a children’s show and then they are subjected to over a decade of left wing schooling. It shouldn’t be any surprise the propaganda is effective.

Third, progressives willingly breaking family ties is illustrative of the problems with democracy. You, me, and Jane Doe down the street were never meant to make decisions about who should or should not be the executive of the country and the executive was never meant to have so much power over our daily lives. But the executive does and we do. When you combine that with the reality that a substantial part of our population suckles at the regime’s teet it’s no wonder everyone goes buck wild these days.

Liberals are and have always been the most eager for war. People conflate a bunch of draft dodging hippies during Vietnam with the left’s view of war.

For example, LBJ, Obama, FDR, Woodrow Wilson, Lincoln, Bush, Bush again, Hill dawg were all blood thirsty ghouls.

You could easily name a dozen founding fathers who fought a war over taxes. Glad they did but anti war people don’t usually resort to war as their first recourse.

Other non American examples - Churchill, Stalin, Robespierre, Mao.

Shoot the concept of unconditional surrender never existed before liberal governments. What we did to Germany, Japan, and what the republicans did to the south would have been unthinkable to European monarchs.

TLDR: liberals love war because it’s the quickest way to topple oppositional governments and spread their religion.
