Interesting interview on the morning show today about the Auburn opening and his new gig at CC. The most interesting were his comments about the UGA program - basically said our expectations were way too high based on our program history and he's not sure why our success with him wasn't looked at relative to that. Said taking over a program with no history (basically called his natty in college 'lucky') is one of most difficult things to do in sports.
Donnan's comments after were funny - said Perno is in for an awakening on level of coaching and X's and O's in high school now. (Perno said it wasn't an issue... He may not know X's and O's but he knows how to win).
