Figured we could go a different direction from what is usually posted about these four teams in particular on this site. We all agree that these are our four biggest rivals but it's sometimes nice to take a step back and appreciate rare talents, regardless of team allegiances.
Tech - Calvin Johnson - absolute freak. To think what he would have done anywhere but Tech, especially here, makes you wonder.
Auburn - Ronnie Brown - lunch pail, blue collar, however you want to put it, he always brought it and seemed like a good, humble dude. So versatile and complemented Carnell Williams very well. Has also been a very good pro.
Florida - this is a real tough one as it's tough for me to think of anyone in particular that I just thoroughly enjoyed watching but I'll go with Reggie Nelson. He played center field as well as any safety in college recently. They've had some serious DB talent over the last decade plus.
UT - Eric Berry - might have been, pound for pound, the best defensive player in college football during the 2000's.
Crazy that three of the four I mentioned were from the state of Georgia.
