Not gonna lie. Thought it was pretty funny. Old dude with a cane was pretty harmless in my mind.
What wasn't harmless and I thought was sickening was the entire left side of the aisle sitting on their hands with straight faces, in some cases rolling their eyes, while the following people were honored:
-families of victims of migrant crime
-surviving kid of a slain cop accepted into West Point
-returning hostage of Russia
-the announcement of the capture of the terrorist who killed 13 servicemembers
-and the icing on the cake....the kid with brain cancer crowned an honorary secret service member
Al Green? Meh. The rest of the democrats.....absolutely heartless, tone deaf, and loyal only to their hate of DJT rather than America or Americans. It said a lot.
Green is a side show clown. If he wants to act that way during a normal biz day or when his committee is meeting with members of the Executive Branch, that's his bees wax. But when POTUS is speaking to a joint session and it's being broadcast around the world, that's on my time and my dime.
Compare and contrast how Ds handled something similar.
