I’m laying out my chosen X Factors on offense and defense. I’m leaving out Gunner just because, but I encourage everyone to place theirs in the thread below.
Defense:
- Smael Mondon
- TID
- Chris Cole
Offense:
- Arian Smith
- Luckie/Delp
- Jared Wilson
Defensively, I think a healthy Smael being spelled by Allen or Wilson is massive for that room. He has the athleticism to erase space and make key calls. TID is a guy outside of Mykel or Jakob that can wreak havoc. Chris Cole could have a big role in the star position against ND.
Offensively, we need Arian to go the distance. He hustles and makes plays despite the drops. I’d also say he has some of the most clutch plays in GA history. Luckie/Delp, I anticipate more play action with the TEs heavily involved with Gunner at QB. Lastly, Jared Wilson helping Gunner make calls and identify the defense. I know Gunner knows the system but I think this is overlooked.
Go Dawgs! I think we beat ND by 14-17. Kirby kills teams with three weeks to get ready.
