Were we not sitting here this time last year saying that if we beat Tech we were in the playoffs no matter what?
Most thought that it didn't matter if we won the SEC title game or not, that we would be one of the top 4 since we went undefeated in the regular season.
We have gone into two SEC title games with an undefeated record two times and lost to Bama both times in those games.
One year we make the playoffs and the other we don't.
It seems eerily similar this year, even with the 12 team playoff. These conference title games can absolutely make or break you.
And everyone knows we deserved to be in last year.
I know the solution is to just win. But the whole pie matters. And these title games seem to remove other parts of the total pie.
I will be in Sanford Friday cheering on the Dawgs. Just win two more and it will be alright.
