They're not going to fire Richt because McGarity is useless and incompetent. I thought he would be a good AD when he was hired. He isn't worth a damn.

Remember all the anguish last year when rumors were flying after fla & gt? Then Pruitt about ipf? Suddenly most were back on the band wagon & the board was divided & gave cmr the extra support personnel, etc to get the job done. He's failing. These past 2 weeks are worse than some of the Donna teams after 97.
Thanks to Adams, the AD isn't as powerful as you think. The board & president wields more power than back in the 70's & 80's.
Maybe, but I've already said neither Morehead nor McGarity are even going to put any pressure on him, much less fire him. The simple fact is Richt has gotten comfortable. He's making 4 million a year in a low pressure job(meaning UGA is low pressure). Richt is soft and so is this team.
Maybe this is all UGA will ever be. Above average, winning a SEC title about once every ten to twelve years, and winning a national title every 50.
of course Kirby Smart would come. If we think that this particular Saban disciple might actually be the most Saban-like, we should get him before some other SEC program. Not sure he's what we need , but I do think he'll be a good HC someday.
