Listened to 2 pod cast this week that alluded to fact that despite constant MSM attacks on Trump and praise for Harris the Trump Campaign team 2024 version appears to be better than the Harris team. This was most likely not case in the 2 previous election cycle as both Hillary and Biden had solid teams and Trump's group seemed to be re-actinatory. In fairness to Harris, her team seems to be thrown together at last minute but here was their reasoning:
- Settled on two guys (Vance and Cotton) to do Sunday morning news messaging and they are hitting it out of the park. They are cleaning up after Trump and attacking the Harris ticket with same messaging. So far Harris / Walz reps have not been seen anywhere.
- The 40 day wait for interview looked thrown together with terrible lighting, decor, and backdrop. There was an actual cup on the floor and Walz looked like an idiot sitting at end of the table. Not getting into the interview, just the setup looked elementary and basic.
- Way to many leaks coming out of Harris team and surprisingly little negativity coming out of the Trump team. Biden had ZERO leaks and prior Trump administration, and campaign staff was leaking and knifing folks in back the entire time.
- Failure of Harris team to get her in front of camera with some planted questions to combat the narrative she can't do a press conference.
- Still not sure how the Harris team let her choose Walz. So far he has brought nothing to the ticket.
