Good news on our NIT draw. This year, the NIT gives auto bids to the 2 highest NET ranked teams in each power 6 conference that didn't make the NCAA Tournament. Right now we'd be the 2nd SEC team automatically in if the 9 teams ahead of UGA and LSU make the tournament like some bracketologists are predicting. LSU would get the first bid (#94) and UGA would get second bid (#95). So that game in Baton Rouge will be a big one, our NIT chances go up significantly if we can finish ahead of them in the NET. Can still get in at large but top 2 from SEC are a lock.
