Hard to understand why the members of an embattled political party are attacking initiatives supported by over 80% of the public in some cases. When you see them enmasse vote against the Protection of Women in Sports Bill while 70% of registered Democrats supported the bill; it almost seems if there is something purposeful going on to weaken the party.
