watching the game today I couldn’t help but think that our play was the byproduct of the “head games” Fox deploys with our players. Two 3s by Crump, then after a mistake, yanked. Wilridge starts 4 games, barely sees the Court after that. He got in today, missed a three, and was benched. Hightower played one minute, missed a three and was pulled. Harris starts most games last year, barely plays this year. So on and so on. The team seems to be playing fearful of their coach. Going through the offensive progressions by the book is the key to playing time under this coach. And the offense seems to be preventing the improvisational skills and natural ability our players possess. I hope to see more movement and aggression from our guys on offense but I’m not hopeful of it. Really tough game to watch today.
