I have a gut feeling on this competition. I am simply a subscriber to this website and only get to see what is posted on this website and what is on television/internet. Having said that, I felt going into the spring that Bauta would win this job and I feel the same way now. I was lucky enough to watch Bauta as a senior at Dwyer HS play the #1 team in the nation Bradenton Manatee in the state semi finals of the Florida State Playoffs and came away extremely impressed with Bauta's intangibles. I truly believe Ramsey has more natural gifts than Bauta, but his intangibles I believe with his ability win the job. Don't get me wrong Bauta is impressive physically and I believe throws well enough to be good, but his desire to compete (which was evident against Manatee) is off the charts and goes right along with what Dash has been reporting for the time Bauta has been at UGA. I am not knocking Ramsey or Lambert. I am simply going off of a gut feeling and something as little as his interview yesterday is another very small example of what he brings to the table. It is obvious that CBS and CMR will make the right choice, but I just think Bauta wins this job. Hell, I could easily be wrong and Ramsey or Lambert go on to have a huge year and that would be great, but I just feel this kid brings so much of what this offense needs in leadership. Just my two cents. Go dawgs.
