Legit question as I have been thinking on this. Can y’all name *any* top tier college football players that were successful that flipped commitments more than one or 2 times? To me, it is an indicator of something else going on there. I don’t blame any of these kids for getting as much money as possible, but honestly, if that is the primary motivation at this stage, then they likely to miss out on the development and hardening that is so critical at this stage of growth to make them great for not only college but the NFL as well. I suppose we’ll see, but I bet you that kid dose not finish his career at Texas. And the reason will be that he isn’t focused on what’s important now. I hope for him, that isn’t true, I just can’t think of an example of a kid that did this that ended up being great. Maybe its an indicator that the folks around him are either naive or self-motivated to get at some of that early money.
