Today marks the start of a dead period for college basketball. It runs the whole month, which means no more visitors until August. Starting next Wednesday, there are three straight long weekends (Wednesday at 5:00 PM until Sunday at 5:00 PM) where coaches can be out at tournaments all over the country evaluating players.
