And injuries this year have made us very limited and predictable on offense. Not saying it’s our only issue, but man it might be our biggest. If we could establish an actual run game I think we’d be surprised how much better our passing game and O line might look.
Etienne is the only SEC caliber back we have right now and he’s clearly banged up and on a very limited pitch count. Frazier has potential but he really needs to be in a rotation other big body backs, he’s not an every down player in this league, not at this stage at least. I respect the hell out of Cash for what he’s done for us but he’s also not a between the tackles kind of guy.
It’s pretty obvious watching how limited we are in what we can do on the ground and other teams know that. That puts a sh*t ton full of pressure on the rest of the group and all of the other flaws get exacerbated as teams have keyed in on those weaknesses. Think we’re really missing a fully healthy Branson or rod rob in a big way right now - hope we can get one or two of them back soon.
