This is less about what my opinion is and more about their JAWS rating (a metric to measure HOF worthiness). The 25 man roster is a typical MLB breakdown of five starting pitchers, seven relievers, six infielders, five outfielders and two catchers. Included, is a massive list of honorable mentions compiled. Interestingly, the typical names whom most complain about not being in the HOF, aren't on the 25 man roster e.g. Orel Hershiser, Dale Murphy, Darrell Strawberry, Roger Maris, Rocky Colavito, Vada Pinson, Dave Parker, Doc Gooden. Regarding relievers, I stopped the honorable mention list at Dan Quisenberry, just before the closer became a specialty position and players like Jeff Reardon, John Franco, John Wetteland et al started gaining artificial status... because in reality, they are actually nowhere near the top... or top twenty according to JAWS rankings.
