Really can't overstate the job David Cutcliffe has done at Duke.

They hadn't been bowl eligible since 1994. He's got them headed that way again this year.

It's a little late in his life to 'pull a Spurrier' at Duke but it's
better late than never. Glad they can be a thorn in some
of those ACC sides. Even a doormat likes to do the wiping now and then.

Yah, it's really impressive. My late uncle really liked him at Ole Miss. He was of course a big part of getting Eli Manning to come to Ole Miss. He got kind of a raw deal at Ole Miss because some of the alum wanted to bring in Houston Nutt. I'm surprised Tennessee didn't go after him but then again Cutcliffe is happy at Duke and it's a fantastic school.

Thank goodness the Vols didn't have sense enough to go after him on a couple of occasions. The guy was a scholarship player (qb) at Bama under Bryant who got hurt in an all star game but Bryant honored his scholarship and made him a student assistant for 4 years then a grad assistant for 2. He was in every coaches meeting for 6 years. Like having a PHD coaching college football. Too old now but think of what he could have done closer to home, like Northeast Georgia.
