Reconnecting with the small DAWGS. . . . . .

You know I used to laugh when we would go to Charleston and all the cars with the IPTAY paw tickers on the windshields. But we have been talking about culture and how UGA has completely lost touch with small donors, who are the heart of the fan base, and I would place this right on the doorstep of McGarity.

I think Clemson may have pulled off one of the best marketing campaigns of the century with the IPTAY thing. UGA really caters to the top donors only. I know you need the major donors to fund big capital campaigns, but as just a regular guy I feel totally ignored even though I have been a loyal season ticket holder for decades.

There was some absurd number that illustrates this in this years ticket allocation. It seems like you had to contribute something like $100k or maybe it was $250k to get four tickets to all four games.

Anybody else out there feeling disconnected or ignored? What does the next AD need to do to reconnect?
