While he might be a very talented back and a good person, where in the heck would he fit in our backfield with a health when AJ heals up?
Yes, I do remember when Gurley and Marshall both went down at the same time but it seems to me we have talent on the bench now, if Carson had signed with us out of JC we would have: Chubb, Michel, Marshall, Turman, Douglas, Crowder (red shirt I assume) and Carson? I get we would not have taken Crowder if Carson had not changed his mind but still it is a full backfield.
Carson had an average to good game with OSU against Central Michigan but obviously did not break anything long having about 90 or so yards on about 20 carries.
Just seems like it worked out well for everyone.
