at winning meaningless games. He is by far the worst coach at winning games that matter and therefore, especially factoring in the pro level talent he has had, is one of the worst coaches in Georgia's history. Suck it up Buttercup !

We are like Florida was pre spurrier. The right hire away from a dynasty. Florida's recruiting has become deluded the instate and out of state competition.

Dooley was great at overseeing the country club sports but sucked horribly at hiring football coaches.

Dooley won a national title and 6 SEC titles which is a hell of a lot more than Richt will ever do. I loathe the running down of Dooley some of you engage in. There's no need for that crap.

Dooley had his faults and he coached some bad teams, but one thing was for sure that his teams were disciplined, ready to play, and fundamentally sound. His special teams were usually special. We beat some teams that were more talented than Georgia. Under his watch Georgia got beat, but they didn't typically lose the game. If you don't know the difference, then you don't deserve to comment. Vince Dooley beat Bear Bryant when he was at his best. Dooley won a NC with Hershel Walker and was a touchdown away from another.

Richt's teams are just the opposite. Richt couldn't win the SEC with Gurley, Chubb, and Murray, much less a NC.

End of argument...that right there should be enough for Richt to be gone. Georgia has won on sheer talent alone. Imagine what could be done with these players if they were well coached.

so, seriously now....are you saying 75% of the games Georgia plays don't matter?

Yes Fivehead, you see 75% is mid C level... absolutely average, mediocre. It's the next higher 15% that matter, the ones we never win with this Coach. Our schedule gives you 9-10 wins every year based on our talent base alone, the next wins 11, 12, 13 matter and sometimes where they are in the season, matter the most. Those are the wins we never get out of our coaching staff. You can revel in your love of mediocrity all day but I Love The University and I know we can do better.

so if the team were 4-8 every year but the 4 wins were Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Auburn....you'd be happy? just trying to be sure I understand what you mean....if they're not important games, it doesn't matter if you lose them right?

Correct! You make an insane and false argument. If you're good enough to beat those 4, you ain't losing the other 8.
