I think Richt is situation that he can't get out of. So let's say Richt does not want to fire shoty. Then does that give the money and Greg to tell him go scew him self . So if he does want to fire who do we hire Lilly if we suck next year do we fire him. With Presure on Pruitt does he leave. It definitely arguable as to whether our defense is truly any good....but in a season full of disappointments it's about the only positive. That's why I don't know if the CMR era could survive Pruitt leaving. Especially with Schotty being pretty much universally hated.

Who could replace Pruitt that people would feel good about? And, if you have to replace the DC and possibly OC...why not can Richt and start from scratch?

Can't replace both OC and DC in one season...that would mean position coaches would change also...might as well fire the HC ..cause that is what bringing in a new C does...replace the coaches...

Exactly I was reading some where that rocker is taking a Dc position. That's why I keep saying I think Richt won't be back. Do you trust him enough to rebuild.

Hardly. Stated before, IF and only IF CMR somehow gets to stay, think those 2 should be promoted to have some kind of stability and bring a calmness over the program, the current and future players. Doubt many other coordinators would want to come with CMR on hotseat anyway.

Exactly that's my thing I think this administration knows it. Why I'm hearing and reading is he gone he just does not want to admide it

He certainly would have been better than Schotty. Also Richt isn't like Saban and Meyer. They are detailed and very controlling. they seem to be able to make any group of coaches conform to their methods. Richt needs the right people around him, both in style and substance. He needs people who know what is what and aren't afraid to express their feelings FIRMLY.
