I know ouherschelwalker already posted, but FBH was my grandfather. Probably the greatest wing shooter of a generation, one of the last story tellers of a dying breed, and built a family of die hard Dawgs.
I remember sitting in his lap as a kid in his bedroom and reading grapevine. Never operated a smart phone, but every time he had a cheap laptop die out, the grandchildren would buy him a new computer for Christmas and get him set up on rivals by lunch.
What will surely be a great memory: he could not talk and was out of it in his last couple days. The hearing is the last to go so they played the national championship last night on the tv through his headphones, and he was kicking his feet!
I will miss him dearly, but he is out of pain and has surely seen the Lord. He read the Bible nightly for one hour to my Nana and sang hymns by her bedside. Merry Christmas.
