After the Isaiah Gibson commitment and seeing the chatter on the discrepancy in player ranking between Rivals (#151) and TOOS (#24) it got me thinking and wondering what other large discrepancies are out there on our current commit list.
For the sake of this thread I’m only including players that are a 3* on one site and a 4*+ on the other (but welcome thoughts on Walker’s 58 spot difference, Ikinnagbon’s 111 spot difference, or Garrett’s 170 spot difference). Curious in which site’s ranking do highly esteemed film-watchers (looking at you @HHolland92 and anyone else that is a film junkie) think is more precise for said player.
The first ranking is Rivals and the second ranking is TOOS:
- Ethan Barbour: NR 3* v. #252
- Mason Short: #49 v. NR 3*
- Dontrell Glover: #122 v. NR 3*
