Pretty sure he is not coming back. Two weeks ago, I had heard he as offered his old role of USTR again, and the thought was he was not going to make a “lateral” move.
The rumor for the last 10 days is that his former Chief of Staff was going to get the job, and last night that appointment happened.
The new guy will be as strong a trade warrior. It’s a good pick.
