We have 5 games left on the schedule prior to opening @AU for the SEC. Three home games followed by 2 on the road. Marquette is 5-2 and just crushed Western Carolina 90-44. They beat Vandy by 24. They lost to Michigan and Pitt.
Starting with Marquette, my hope is we get a set starting lineup, and rotate guys in fairly the same each half, until fouls or play dictate otherwise.
For all games, my personal starting rotation would be, JJ, Turtle, Harris, DO and Yante. However, I firmly believe it will be JP over Harris, unless JP's achillies is really an issue.
Also, CMF is not happy with DOs foul trouble. I could see ME getting the start vs Marquette.
I would use Crump for either Turtle or JJ. When 1 needs a rest, bring in Crump. CMF said he won't have Crump and Harris on the court at the same time again, so if Crump comes in when Harris is on the court, expect KPG to replace Harris. Or Diatta.
Well, we are at that point where it all breaks down b/c of how the ball is bouncing in the game, but I do not see a scenario where we aren't playing 10-11 a night. I know we all wish it was less, like 8max/night, but we have issues with fouls in the paint (ME&DO), shooting from outside (JJ, JP, HK, and until last night, Crump). Turtle continues to shoot well but not enough. HK continues to shoot. Harris continues to shoot well. Yante has only struggled once against Morehouse. He is crazy good.
Anyway, please tell me rationally how we reduce our number of players/game with what you have seen thru 7 games? I don't see it yet.
