In Indianapolis after the Dawgs “conquered the Tide”, Nick told Kirby in their post game handshake … “you all kicked our ass in the fourth quarter”…”congratulations”. While the words meant a lot…it was his genuine happiness for his best disciple Kirby— a selfless act of sportsmanship. That was the clincher. All the best for the Sabans… and for Terry Saban’s health. Go dawgs.
