After moving to Bloomington, IN last year and renting for a while we just moved into our new home (built in1969, my freshman year at UGA) to find a very eccentric looking man in our front yard introducing himself as our neighbor. "Hi", he said, "my name is Jeff Sagarin." Really decent guy and not quite the propeller head that most folks make him out to be. But what recall he has. He can not only tell you game scores and recount scoring but also tell you year, month, day, day of the week, day game-night game and conditions under which sporting events took place and explain why he recalls it. I can see why they used his methodology for so long. Have not yet had a discussion about the Dawgs with him, but will keep you posted if I do.
