Hate to say it but you could see this from a ways away. When the SEC was down for a few years we couldn’t capitalize. We were ok with just missing the tourney, with power 5 mediocracy and not embarrassing ourselves. Other SEC programs raised the bar, began improving and passed us by. You could see it coming. Now we are a bottom half of the SEC team. Hope administration addresses this and tries to improve. Wish we would have while we have had talents like JJ and Yante.
