Update: sounds like Adames too as part of three team deal. Sounds like Freeman part two with Dansby

And Adames and Murphy to Braves is what I heard.
No idea if true. Adames is definitely more speculative
Edited Update: so take this for what it’s worth. Supposedly the Braves prioritized Murphy but wanted to open the talks to include the Brewers into it for a chance at Adames. Different names were tossed but it couldn’t be worked out. So since all three were talking it was backed down to just Murphy for the Braves. The Adames part was a safety net discussion in case Dansby couldn’t be resigned. Things moved faster in the talks and the Braves moved on it. They LOVE Murphy and are content.
Again…not fact just some insight from a source. Decently dependable one but not a perfect one.
