We all want UGA to be a regular NCAA tournament team and play in the Sweet 16 or better on occasion, The board constantly criticizes CMF at the every opportunity and has a meltdown when Crump isn't playing despite his defensive liabilities.
That being said, the fan support last night was an embarrassment. Senior Night started at 6:15 PM and I am willing to bet there was less than 2,500 people the stands. I felt bad for the four seniors ... especially JJ. I don't know what the announced attendance was last night, but everyone could have sat in the lower level with room to spare. Now, I know people will say that it was an early start or it was a week night and they couldn't get there from Atlanta. Those are just weak excuses. I made it from Cobb County. My guess is that it was a football game you would have found a way to make it to Athens.
You want a championship type caliper team, a great head coach, but when it comes right down to it, you don't support the team. It never surprises me when a big time recruit selects another program over UGA. JJ deserved better lat night as did the other seniors.
