Seven home games, SC, Bama Missouri. Lots of money to pay for three decent

Yup!!!

Tell me about it ... Also ordering UF and Vandy and maybe Auburn Tixs which will be $2000+.

Just Got my order form for the SECCG Tixs which will be another $500 for 4 tixs.

Crazy aint it!

GA Southern will be a lot better game than you think....

And KY is in the SEC....

Schedule looks set up good to make a run to me.

I've been offered $500 a piece for my eight Bama tickets. I don't think the idiot will pay but If he does they are sold. These ticket prices are stupid...I'll stay at home.

I imagine SC will be at night, Bama at 3:30 and MO will either be...

night or noon depending on how the teams are doing at that point in the season. The other 4 games will probably all be noon. I'm glad I'm older and don't mind going to early games. We'll hear all about how the students don't support the team because they won't show up at noon to watch games against ULM and KY.

The agency owner gets four tickets and he figures he has a little over $400 a game in tickets. We might have some of the cheapest ticket prices in the SEC, but it really isn't a great bargain.

Re: I'm done after this year and maybe next***

I don't blame you. I have never gotten tickets from the university. I go to every game I want to go to. I generally pay less than face unless it's a really big game i.e. SCu or tech and then I generally get them for $60-80. The most I ever paid was $120 to watch AU beat us. I usually go with a good friend who gets tickets. I pay for gas, beer, food, everything else and he provides the tickets. We figure it works out about even and he hates to drive. If he has someone else he needs to give the ticket to, I'll even drive them up and I'll get my ticket from a scalper. I've never been shut out of a game.

Some folks love it and think it's worth every penny. A dentist I grew up with lives in Dublin now, he and his family come up for every game on Friday night, stay at the Classic Center, tailgate like rock stars, go out in Athens on Friday night and have 6 club level tickets. He told me a couple of years ago the spends about $12-15,000 a year on Georgia football games and loves it.

True, D-1, 85 scholarships, won their conference first year in...

and have a great tradition. We should beat them, but they are better than 2014 UF, just saying.

Yep, it takes all kinds..I had tickets during the Goff years..

Gave them up and never looked back. I still get to a game or two a year...but I don't sweat it if I don't. I do make an effort to watch most every game on TV though...can't give that up yet. I have watched the Dawgs play from as far away as Lake Tahoe...good times. I can't imagine being tied down like your friend is with the club level seats. etc...glad he enjoys it though. Like I said....it takes all kinds.

I probably will be too - I have aging parents that I attend the games

with, they are making it to fewer and fewer games and frankly, I'm too old to make the drive back to the west metro area after a night game. Having a cold one and watching in HD with no investment in time other than the game itself sounds better every year.
