I honestly don't get some of the people on this board.
I want to win just as much as anyone. I yell and scream and can't understand why we make some of the bonehead calls that we do, play some of the players that we do, etc. Armchair quarterbacking is fun and that is EXACTLY what it is ... armchair quarterbacking. But, I am not part of the staff and/or team that puts in COUNTLESS hours, taking time away from their families and dedicating it towards something I am passionate about on Saturdays in the fall. No matter how much people on this board try to make it something that has some other type of importance in their lives, it is still a damn game. Losing sleep, letting wins/losses affect your health, etc. over a game that is played by kids that you wouldn't otherwise take a second look at if they didn't wear the G is ridiculous.
The best thing that I can do is bring positive energy to the stadium, cheer for my Dawgs (that's ALL of them, players AND coaches) and keep that energy as high as I can. I want for CMR to win a title doing things the right way and show it can be done. I don't know if it will happen or not (we have been DAMN close). I won't be upset if a change is made, but I'm not going to act like ranting on a message board is going to make that change happen either. Then, at some point when a change is made, I will cheer for the man they bring in to take CMR's place. I do this because I am a Dawg Fan ... and I will be a Dawg Fan until I die.
If you cheer when an opposing player gets hurt, well, you are a piece of crap. I have had 4 multi-ligament reconstructions on both knees and I've had 2 back surgeries and now have degenerative discs that will require future surgery. I'll probably have double knee replacements before I am 50 because there is not much left in there. All started with injuries from playing high school football. These kids play because they love the game. You'll pat yourself on the back when you say something positive about an injured player from a smaller school (Southern) but you'll talk about a highly recruited kid that didn't pick UGA like he deserved to get hurt and screw him, he is the enemy. ALL players deserve better than to have adults cheering when a player goes down. Karma can be a bitch, so be careful what you wish on others.
And, for the poster talking about it would be better for the Dawgs to lose ... If you pull for the Dawgs to lose, then you are a Gayter, Hillbilly, Plainsman, cock or a gnat. I have friends that go by all of those titles and I expect that from them. NOT from Dawgs. It's that simple.
