I hate defending her. I really do. But Benny f’ed up on this one. He didn’t match the clips and looks like he was trying to take her out of context. I hate when they do this daily to trump and Vance so I am going to call it out here. Listen to the clip. She said she hates anyone condemning someone for who they vote for. She actually said what she should say for once. She has no business being in the White House ever, but she didn’t handle this poorly imo.
The end of the interview included her non answer. He didn’t include that part. That said she should condemn the actual comments. Not play into the WH totally dishonest attempt to completely change what he said. It would do her well to do it. But she won’t
I have seen her handle things a lot worse than that. She was obviously trying desperately to keep the comedians comments front and center while politely nit agreeing with Joe. Either way. What a trainwreck. It totally took any attention of the speech she gave. Which may have helped in the end because it was also a trainwreck. Benny still screwed that one up imo. Bad.
