This is Mark Bradley's column and honestly I've thought for a while now we should stop playing Tech. I'm a little less strident about it now that they don't run the triple option, but it still just strikes me as a no win game for us.
To me, it's just a no win situation for us. We are always supposed to win and it's their super bowl. Plus, I think the ultimate insult to them would be for us to drop them because they're not good enough. I can't tell you how much the Pitt fans hated it when Penn State dropped them.
So, what say you? I suspect this is going to break down on age lines also as I expect the over 50 crowd will want to keep the game and the under 40 crowd would rather not.
