Does the college level require unique skills or knowledge on inbounding the ball, that HS players or street ball players cannot do or even imagine? WTH? Is the execution of that play really on the coach? Obviously, practice makes perfect on free throws, ball handling, passing and outside shooting and every other "fundamental" facet of the game, but why is throwing or bouncing the ball to a teammate from out of bounds be so much more difficult that throwing it or bouncing it to him within bounds, while both of you are on the move? Sorry for the "outside the arena" disdain as I do not qualify as an expert, but do share in most of our posted frustrations with the general state of our basketball program.
