It was evident during the game that our helmet communication device was not working. They were testing several helmets. CKS called over the refs and basically all the refs said were Georgia’s did not work and the game will carry on.
I know this is the first year they are having this device but I thought the rule is with at least coaching headsets if one side goes out the other side must turn their side off. Why wasn’t that ruled here?
Did they ever address on TV when the helmet communication came back on or maybe it never did?
Perhaps they fixed it at halftime?
I didn’t think much about it at the time but given what transpired in the 3rd quarter it seems suspicious that our defensive communication system stopped working.
