His bball teams made the NCAA tournament all but once during his tenure at UT, according to the Austin American Statesman. Longhorn fans were apparently dissatisfied with the early exits from the tournament, including an opening round loss to Butler this year. He will be paid 1.75 million to leave, according to his contract.
