- Add a 17th team
- eliminate all permanent games
- 8 conference games (4 home/4 away)
- play a home/away once in four years

It wouldn't happen, but a part of me feels like since we just killed most of the yearly traditional games on the schedule, why not.

Added bonus, in this system, after four years, the schedule can reshuffle based on seeding, and create a sense of equity in scheduling over time. Equity and a roll of the dice with common opponents.

The thing about the new conference setting that I may hate the most is that without divisions, so many of the conference championship games will be pointless. You'll likely see 9-0 teams against 7-2 teams who've already played in the regular season.

A part of me feels like if we are going to detonate it, do it all and at least let it make sense instead of partial sense, because these uneven, wonky schedules and championships with no divisions and a bad luck of the draw with common opponents is BS.

We just opted to be a bigger Big 12. Their format is absolutely pointless except to throw wrenches into the world and penalize teams. It only serves to bring in money.
