The dynamic of the common sense majority getting fed up with the bullshit we have seen since Covid is a global one. And the death knell for team bullshit was election night in the US.

Vote not happening tonight. Speaker Greg Fergus blocked debate and vote. They are debating the budget as a “point of privilege” because all MP's protested the suspended debate. Instead of delivering the Fall Economic Statement Trudeau set up a ceremony to swear in Dominic LeBlanc as new Finance Minister (he was the Minister in charge of border) at the same time. Trudeau wasn't going to face Parliament and nobody in his cabinet would take the heat for him.
If they had voted tonight, there would have been a confidence vote in the Prime Minister, which would not go well for Trudeau. Speaker Fergus did everything he could to protect Trudeau even though no one in his government was willing to present the Fall Economic Statement. They are cruising towards calling an election.

His party could be elected, or more specifically a coalition led by The Liberal Party could be elected and name him PM. Trudeau will have the advantage of scheduling and running the election.
