So if we wake up tomorrow

and everybody has the corona, what then? Anyways, ‘not recommending one way or another, but why is it not better or would it be better if govt tells the elderly (over 65) and anyone w/ immune problems to lock up while the rest contract the virus. They seem to tell us approx 80% don’t even know they have/had the virus and around 15% have fever and or flu like symptoms but overcome the sickness. So doesn’t this virus come down to no more than 5% of people are really a concern (includes the elderly and immune deficient) for death or needing hospital care? What’s the real difference if u test positive and the statistical data of the outcome is correct? Just trying to understand why All the emphasis isn’t only on the 5% vs allowing $trillions in losses and who knows how many job losses and turning the country upside down. Aren’t people going to die whether we close the country down as we seem to be doing or whether we keep the country/economy going and concentrate on the 5% or less and fight off the virus as we do the flu?
