...have the bigger impact on moving up to a 7 seed?

Choice A: Dawgs get 5 seed, play MSU then TAM.

Choice B: Dawgs get 3 seed, play SCjr or Ole Miss, then Ark.

Does one side look better than the other in terms of quality wins? I'd think the 3 seed offers the greatest benefit with the least risk of a bad loss.
