Intriguing question for Georgia will be if we lose in Atlanta are we still hosting?

Here’s the current rankings

1. Oregon
2. Ohio St
3. Texas
4. Penn St
5. Notre Dame
6. Miami
7. Georgia
8. Tennessee
9. SMU
10. Indiana
11. Boise St
12. Clemson
13. Bama

Here’s how a final bracket might look if favorites win and we assume the worst happens with Georgia losing in Atlanta.

1. Ohio St
2. Texas
3. SMU
4. Boise St/Big 12 Champ
5. Oregon
6. Penn St
7. Notre Dame
8. Georgia/Miami/Tennessee
9. Georgia/Miami/Tennessee
10. Georgia/Miami/Tennessee
11. Indiana
12. Boise St/Big 12 Champ

The way I see it unless we jump Miami after beating Tech, then we are probably Miami fans the rest of the way so we still get to host if we lose in Atlanta. Still we’d have to assume we don’t fall behind Tennessee, but this appears to be our only path to still host if we were to lose. #8 is the best we can hope for if we lose.
