Some things are just glaring and self-evident...

Our offensive stats are horrific. FG%, 3pt% total pts rank way down nationally. We are also only getting to the ft line 11 times per game so far. IMO, that stems from two sources...our failure to put guys who can score on the floor and our refusal to play faster and with more aggression even in our half court game. While JP is playing solid in several areas, which I knew he would, he is shooting abysmally. We just cannot have him share court time with any other guys who can't put up points, and or, create stuff for others.

I don't have to be informed again that Fox will sacrifice offense to have the kind of D he wants, but how playing more uptempo or aggressively negatively effects our D is beyond me. My playing and coaching careers were anchored by fundamental, strong defense so I don't have to be sold on that aspect of the game. But, it is evident to me this team is not going to win games vs good teams relying on our defense. We simply have to put guys on the court who can employ the two offensive strategies I mentioned above. We have to up our offensive output by 10-12 ppg. imo, or we are in for a rough ride.
